- Listening for gist and detail
- Identifying specific information and key points
- Recognizing intonation, stress, and rhythm
- Note-taking and summarizing
Week 11-12: Speaking
- Participating in discussions and debates on various topics
- Delivering a short presentation with clear organization and supporting evidence
- Asking and answering follow-up questions
- Practicing pronunciation and intonation
