Chomsky Language Acquisition Device
My favorite lesson at university was “Language acquisition” My hero was Noam Chomsky. The other one was Vygotsky. Two of them were the perfect philosophers. Without them, language learning would be like learning history or Math. They described learning languages at their ages, and we learned via them. Noam Chomsky is a live language philosopher. He is also one of the World’s 100 intellectuals.

Chomsky says language acquisition is innate. And while I was reading those words from my textbook, I told myself immediately; it was true. I was interested and wanted to read about Noam Chomsky. But, I got only one book by Chomsky. It is a shame of literacy for me.
Language Acquisition Device or Universal Grammar
As Noam Chomsky talks about “language acquisition device,” he mentions some interesting facts. Languages are learned from birth, and they all have been since the beginning of the earth. I am a Muslim, the other one is a Christian, and the other one is a Jew. However, we all believe in divine eternity. Moreover, the first man and woman on earth, Adam and Eve, had that ability. By the way, Chomsky’s view changed the name and became universal grammar.
Language is learned by input + 1 but not +2
If you are learning a foreign language. Or a third language, or while a baby learns its mother tongue, they would know one step further. Because of this, they will understand only a step further and then one more step. Then they would speak input + 1. That means that if they’re one step further, they will develop.

Sorry, I have forgotten. Chomsky also says all languages in the World have the same root. Because of this, there is only one grammar, universal grammar. Nevertheless, according to one of my referrals from a magazine, there are 10000 language and dialect differences on earth.
