John wakes up at 7 AM every day. He enjoys his morning coffee while reading the news. Right now, he is preparing breakfast because he has an important meeting. His sister, Anna, teaches English at a local school and often helps him with his English skills. Today, she is not teaching because it's a holiday.

📚 Step 2: Understanding Present Simple

Ne Zaman Kullanırız?

  • ✅ Alışkanlıklar ve rutinler: "I drink coffee every morning."
  • ✅ Genel gerçekler: "The sun rises in the east."
  • ✅ Kalıcı durumlar: "She works at a hospital."
  • ✅ Zamanlanmış olaylar: "The train leaves at 8 AM."

Yapı (Structure)

  • Olumlu: Özne + Fiil (he/she/it için fiil + s/es)
  • Olumsuz: Özne + do not (don't) / does not (doesn't) + Fiil
  • Soru: Do / Does + Özne + Fiil + ?
⚠️ Dikkat: He, she, it ile kullanırken fiile -s veya -es eklenir: work → works, teach → teaches, go → goes

📚 Step 3: Understanding Present Continuous

Ne Zaman Kullanırız?

  • ✅ Şu anda olan eylemler: "I am writing now."
  • ✅ Geçici durumlar: "She is staying with friends this week."
  • ✅ Planlanmış gelecek: "We are meeting tomorrow."
  • ✅ Değişen durumlar: "The weather is getting warmer."

Yapı (Structure)

  • Olumlu: Özne + am/is/are + Fiil + -ing
  • Olumsuz: Özne + am/is/are + not + Fiil + -ing
  • Soru: Am/Is/Are + Özne + Fiil + -ing + ?
⚠️ Dikkat: Fiil + -ing eklenir: play → playing, watch → watching, run → running (çift harf!)

Present Simple 🔄

Alışkanlıklar, rutinler, genel gerçekler

She drinks coffee every morning.
(Her sabah - alışkanlık)

Anahtar Kelimeler: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day/week/month

Present Continuous ⏰

Şu anda olan, geçici durumlar

She is drinking coffee now.
(Şu anda - geçici)

Anahtar Kelimeler: now, right now, at the moment, today, this week, currently

💡 Pro Tip: Present Simple için "genellikle" düşünün, Present Continuous için "şimdi" düşünün!
